A ocorrência de silexitos na área do projeto arqueológico Contorno Leste de Curitiba

Com o silexito proveniente das pesquisas da área do Projeto Arqueológico Contorno Leste de Curitiba, procurou-se estabelecer uma classificação das variedades encontradas entre essa espécie de rocha silicosa de gênese quÃmica, que geralmente apresenta aspectos e cores variadas. Os critérios de classificação basearam-se em caracterÃsticas estruturais macroscópicas, sendo o seu principal objetivo a determinação dos tipos preferenciais utilizados pelo homem préhistórico.
