Abstract
Não seria exagero afirmar que Clovis é a cultura arqueológica mais conhecida e discutida das Américas, em parte porque encontra-se fortemente relacionada às hipóteses do povoamento mais antigo desse continente. O livro escrito por Stanford e Bradley tem por objetivo desmontar o modelo de povoamento das Américas mais tradicional que propõe uma origem asiática para os antepassados de Clovis no fim do último Máximo Glacial (UMG).
